GL Grade E shipbuilding Steel Description:
GL grade E steel is a kind of hot rolled general tensile strength steel. The GL E grade steel plates have yield strength of 34,100 psi (235 ***), and ultimate tensile strength of 58,000 - 75,500 psi (400-520 ***). GL steels come 4 grades in ordinary-strength steel for shipbuilding and grade E is the highest one of them.

Length: 3000mm to 18000mm.

1. Delivery Condition: As Rolled(AR), Controled Rolling(CR),Thermal Mechanical Control Process(TMCP),Normalizing(N),Tempering(T), Annealing(A), Quenching(Q), Quenching & Tempering(QT).
2. The Ultrasonic inspection can be done according to ASTM A435, ASTM A577, ASTM A578, EN10160, SEL072, NFA 04-305, BS5996 standard.
3. Additional Service: Heat treatment, Charpy V tes, Pre treatment,Cutting,Galvanization.
